Children’s favourite pup gang, Paw Patrol, will make their silver screen debut later this year, in Paw Patrol: The Movie.

Chase, Marshall, Sky Rubble, Rocky and Zuma will take on their enemies and save the day, but this time they will be accompanied by some fluffy friends as they take on feline foes.

Included in the newcomers is Kim Kardashian, who has shared the trailer for the new movie and expressed her excitement at taking part.

So, who will she play in the movie and which other stars are in the fetching new line up?

Who is Kim Kardashian in Paw Patrol?

Kardashian will play Delores the Poodle in the new movie, and she has already voiced her excitement about being a “cool mum”, suggesting that her four kids are impressed with her latest venture.

On Thursday, Kardashian shared the trailer on her Instagram and Twitter, where she wrote: “I’m so excited for you guys to hear me play Delores in Paw Patrol: The Movie!

“Watch the trailer now and don’t miss #PawPatrolMovie in theatres and streaming on Paramount+ 20 August.”

In October, she Tweeted to confirm she would be taking part in the movie, telling her fans: “I’m officially cool mom now to my kids! Paw Patrol We’re On A Roll!!!”

While it’s not known what role Delores will play in the highly anticipated movie, images from the movie show her as having white fur, tall, blue-eyed and well groomed - a perfectly posh pooch!

Which other stars are included in the cast?

The Skims founder isn’t the only A-Lister, as Blasck-ish star Masai Martin will join her as Liberty the daschund.

Alongside the dogs is Martin’s Black-ish co-star Yara Shahidi, as the voice of Kendra Wilson, an ambitious engineer who designs some of the gang's newest gadgets and gear.

Also in the lineup is American presenter and comedian Jimmy Kimmel, as Newscaster Marty Muckraker.

American director and producer Tyler Perry will play the part of a truck driver rescued by Chase.

Security guards Ruben and Butch will be voiced by podcaster and actor Dax Shepard, and actor and comedian Randall Park respectively.

Famous voice actor Ron Pardo will play horrid Adventure City Mayor Humdinger, accompanied by his gaggle of Pup-hating kitties.

The original Paw Patrol gang will be voiced by the same voice actors as in the hit television programme, except Chase who will be voiced by Iain Armitage.

The actors behind the rest of the crew are Shayle Simons (Zuma), Callum Shoniker (Rocky), Lilly Bartlam (Skye), Kingsley Marshall (Marshall) and , and Keegan Hedley (Rubble).

What is Paw Patrol: The Movie about?

As shown in the trailer, the pups will save the day when barking-mad Mayor Humdinger attempts to destroy the city.

Dachshund Liberty will call on her friends to un-leash their powers to save the city, as the mayor orders no dogs, “he’s more of a cat person”.

These pups aren’t just any fluff-balls, they have the gadgets, gear and inner-roar to save Adventure City, with a little help from female engineer Kendra.

When is Paw Patrol: The Movie released?

Get your pup-corn at the ready, Paw Patrol: The Movie is set to make its cinematic debut on 20 August.
