Care home residents go pumpkin picking

Residents at White Lodge care home in Swindon recently visited their local pumpkin patch at Sustain Farm Shop for their pumpkin picking event.

Getting into the spirit of the seasons, residents and staff were lucky enough to visit their local farm shop and have the opportunity to pick their very own pumpkins. Along the trail our residents bumped into a few of the farm furry friends. With Goats, and sheep neighbouring the field.

Ramona Gherendi, General Manger at White Lodge care home, said: “One of our favourite seasons is autumn and Sustain Farm Shop’s pumpkin picking event was the perfect way to celebrate the season. It was a lovely day out for our residents.”
