Parkinson’s UK hosts free event for carers in Cambridgeshire

Parkinson’s UK is inviting carers of people living with Parkinson's to a free event in the Cambridgeshire town of March on 29 November.

Designed to provide information and support about the condition and the local services and resources available, the event is tailored to carers but they are welcome to bring their loved ones living with Parkinson’s as there will be activities for them too.

Parkinson’s UK is eager to connect with carers, listen to their experiences, and learn how the charity can better support their needs.

The event will feature a range of activities, including therapeutic sessions for carers, the chance to meet a specialist Parkinson’s nurse, and consultations with Parkinson’s UK advisers and research team members. Local health and social care professionals, along with other organisations, will also be on hand. Attendees will enjoy a free lunch, and each carer will receive a goody bag to take home.
