Deacon Blue member James Prime died aged 64 just a week after fans were told he was “seriously ill” in hospital. The iconic 80s band took to social media to confirm the sad news of the keyboardist’s passing. They said: “Dear friends, We announce with great sadness that our brother James Prime passed away this morning after a short struggle with cancer." | Deacon Blue
39. Patrick Walden
The news of guitarist Patrick Walden’s death was shared by his band Babyshambles on social media. TThe 46-year-old was responsible for co-writing many Babyshambles hits but in 2006, he decided to leave the band. His cause of death has not been announced. He is pictured here in 2006.
