Four weddings and a BBC misconduct probe: Gregg Wallace marriages and current wife

Having started in the food world working in a warehouse at Covent Garden Fruit and Veg Market, Gregg Wallace has come a long way. However, one area where he may not be considered to have done so well, is in his love life.
Before embarking on a romantic journey, the keen culinary quipper started George Allan's Greengrocers in 1989, a company that grew to boast a turnover of some £7.5 million. Expanding on that success, in 2010, the now-famous TV presenter opened the restaurant Wallace & Co in the London district of Putney, where he served as one of the directors.

Aside from his business ventures, the cheeky Cockney MasterChef host, aged 60, has also clocked up four wives. The first - Christine Wallace - became the first Mrs Wallace in 1991, just two years after he started his greengrocer business. Whether through the pressure of his success or otherwise, it clearly didn't help the union, with the pair divorcing the same year.
It was eight years before Gregg would marry again, this time to Denise Wallace. The pair were together for around five years, divorcing in 2004.
Seven years later, Gregg tied the knot with Heidi Wallace - after the pair met on social media in 2009. The romance blossomed after Heidi, 17 years Gregg's junior, asked him a question about celery on Twitter. However, the quick-fire relationship was apparently on the rocks after just a year, with the pair embarking on a rather bizarre 'he-said, she-said' interview about the state of their marriage in the Daily Mail.

He then met Anne-Marie Sterpini - 20 years his junior - whom he has been married to since 2016. Like Heidi, Gregg first interacted with her on Twitter. This time, however, she had asked if rhubarb went well with duck - nothing to do with celery.
He told HELLO! Magazine: "I just looked at Anna's photo and thought, 'Wow, she's pretty'. So yes, rhubarb, which was considered an aphrodisiac in medieval times, brought us together."
Masterchef co-host John Torode served as Gregg’s best man at the wedding, held at Hever Castle in Kent.

He had initially speculated he was wary of becoming an "old parent", but that he was considering the move to please his wife, having already fathered two children - Tom and Libby - during a previous relationship.
Gregg was appointed Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) in the 2022 Birthday Honours list, for services to food and charity.
