Vasconcelos had a professional MMA career spanning seven years, during which he built a record of 10 wins and six losses. Outside the cage, he was also known for his relationship with singer Lovato. The two were first seen together in 2017, ringing in the New Year side by side and attending events together. However, their romance ended in May 2018, with reports indicating that the relationship had "run its course."

At the time of his passing, Brazilian media outlets reported that Vasconcelos left behind a one-year-old daughter, whom he shared with model Kayla Lauren.
