HGTV personality Leslie Davis confirms secret divorce whilst sharing she has a new fiancé

A week ago HGTV personality Leslie Davis took to Instagram to share news that she has a new fiancé, Don Reidy. She wrote: “SURPRISE 🤭 Don popped the question during a snowy Leavenworth snowmobile ride, joined by all three of my boys, which made it even more perfect 🤍

“Turns out Rock the Block gave me a win in more than one way🥹💍❄️ Somewhere between sunup-to-sundown chaos and lots of laughs, I found my person. Don, you are my safe place, my teammate, and my favorite adventure buddy.

“What started as a friendship during one of the wildest experiences of my life turned into true love. We were in it together then… and now we’re in it together forever.

Still smiling. Still shocked. Still so excited for this next chapter 🥂✨.”

One fan wrote: “My favorite couple i am so happy for you guys thrilled to be exact love you so much boo boo!! Donald upgraded so big!! 🎉🍾😍.” Another person commented “Congratulations! Love your glow! 🎊”

Although many fans offered Leslie Davis congratulatory messages after her engagement post, there were some who were confused and one wrote: “I think a lot of us are surprised by this ,we all assumed you were happily married , but hey congratulations on the new handsome Man in your life.”

Leslie Davis recently addressed her relationship status in a blog post and wrote: “Hey everyone, Leslie here! This week I shared some pretty big news… I’m engaged!!! And Don and I couldn’t be more excited to finally share our story with you and celebrate this big life moment. Here is a little life update about the past few years, and a glimpse into our story.

Leslie Davis then went on to write that “Don and I met while my sis, Lyndsay, and I were in Florida filming for Rock The Block Season 5. Don was one of the contractors working tirelessly on our house, making it #TWINWIN worthy! Through the stressful days, endless hours, and lots of laughs in between, we became best friends and continued to stay in touch post-filming.”

Leslie Davis continued: “After almost a year of long distance, we decided to give it a real shot, and it ended with Don moving to Snohomish! My boys instantly clicked with him from his constant joking around, eagerness to help with projects going on in the garage, and joining me in the stands, cheering them on at their events!”

Leslie Davis then addressed her divorce and wrote: “Okay…Okay… I know what you are all saying… “I didn’t even know you were divorced?”

“Well, 1,000+ social media comments later, you all have a lot of questions. I have chosen to keep this part of my personal life private, a hard thing to do as someone with a show on HGTV. You may know my ex-husband, Jacob, my kids’ rockstar of a dad, from previous seasons of Unsellable Houses; however, he has typically chosen to stay out of the public eye.

“Jacob and I made the very tough but right decision for our family to part ways in 2022, allowing us to create a happy, loving, and stable home to raise our three boys.”

“Jacob and I will always share love for each other, just now in a new way, we have learned to become the best teammates, to lean on each other, to support each other’s new adventures, and always put our boys first. With lots of changes, our priority was to always protect our family, which is why I have kept this part of my life private. And seriously, who even announces a divorce anyway LOL!”
