Married At First Sight bride announces she's having a baby with ex-boyfriend - while still married to TV husband

A Married at First Sight Australia bride has announced she is expecting a baby with her ex-boyfriend - while she is still married to her TV husband.

Brook, who is taking part in the current season 13 of the hit dating show, has shocked fans by revealing her pregnancy news.

The TV bride has announced she is expecting a baby with her former partner, who she has rekindled her romance with - all while still being in a marriage with her TV groom Chris on the hugely popular Channel Nine show.

In a deal with local publication Woman’s Day, the 27-year-old model proudly showed off her baby bump in a photo shoot with her boyfriend Harry, who had his hands on her blooming stomach.

“It honestly feels like everything has fallen into place. This is everything I’ve ever wanted – to be with a partner who supports me and loves me for me,” she told the outlet.

She also revealed that she became pregnant in November last year after her and Harry reconnected in August, and then on Christmas Day he proposed while they were on holiday in Aspen, Colorado.

Brook also hit back at claims that she and Harry got back together while she was still taking part in the MAFS experiment. She has inisted the pair were never in touch while she was filming the show, but she did say she thought of her now other half while she was living with TV husband Chris, a 31-year-old construction supervisor.

The mum-to-be added: “I guess it made me realise how amazing Harry is. He’s nothing like that person I married on MAFS.” She continued: “He’d never fat-shame a woman or speak about anyone badly,”, while speaking of Harry and referring to problematic comments Chris made on the show. Chris sparked controversy when the trailer was first released by saying “if I turn around and see a short, overweight blonde girl I'm gone.”

“I’ve actually never been with someone that speaks about women that poorly. So right from the get-go, I was like ‘this person is not for me.’ It was very much like ‘I’ve been paired with this person for TV ratings,” she added.

Brook is said to have walked off the show last August, just two weeks after filling began, as she she wasn’t getting on with her on-screen husband, who she says she never even kissed. It was a few weeks later that she and Harry decided to give their relationship another go, and now they are planning a wedding and preparing for a baby.

Going in to the MAFS experiment, Brook described herself as a typical Aries – she said she is either 0 or 100 and someone who is tucked up in bed with a facemask or out partying all night with the girls.

A fashionista through and through, Brook also said has no qualms in giving her future man a renovation makeover when it comes to his style. She is fiercely loyal and loves a good laugh. However, she said she had been unlucky in love and has been cheated on by almost every guy she's dated.

Brook said she really wanted is a man who is mature, trustworthy, loyal, but most importantly can make her laugh. She doesn't want any more time wasters, she added, and hoped that a man who was putting his faith in the experiment would be one who is ready to settle down and start a family.
