The father of Britain’s largest family and star of 22 Kids and Counting, Noel Radford, did not turn up to his court appearance.

Radford, 53, was reportedly on holiday instead of attending his scheduled appearance at Lancaster Magistrates' Court. He is accused of exceeding the 40mph speed limit on a three-mile dual carriageway in his Porsche between Heysham and his hometown of Morecambe, Lancashire, last November. He also faces charges of failing to identify the driver of the vehicle.

His trial was set to take place on Monday (September 2), but the judge adjourned it after confirming that Radford had booked a holiday and presented genuine tickets. The trial has been rescheduled for October 21 at 10am, where Radford is expected to attend.

Radford, along with his wife Sue, gained fame with their reality TV show, 22 Kids and Counting. The family has been in the public eye since 2012, when they first appeared in the documentary 15 Kids and Counting. Their most recent series, 22 Kids and Counting, aired just before Christmas.

Radford's absence from court comes shortly after he shared photos of his family holiday in Florida on social media.
