TikTok star Young Melvyn, known as 4Melvn, dies aged 22 in fatal car crash after suddenly swerving off the road
A 22-year-old influencer has been killed in a tragic car crash.
TikTok star Young Melvyn, known as 4Melvn online, was on his way to Paris when he suddenly lost control of his car and smashed into the central barrier.
Paramedics attended the scene quickly and attempted to save the content creator. He was pulled out of the car wreckage and medics tried to resuscitate him, but he was pronounced dead there and then. A team of 11 firefighters also attended the scene of the accident and the road was closed while officials were there.
The fatal crash happened at around 1am on Monday morning (February 23) on the French capital’s A6b motorway.
It is not known what caused Melvyn to swerve off the road and an investigation has been opened into the fatal crash.
Melvyn, who had more than 660,000 followers on TikTok, was known for posting music videos, fashion tips, and lifestyle advice.
Many of his fans wrote messages of condolence on his last posts.
One person, who appeared to know him personally, said: “I love you, my brother. It’s going to be hard without you.”
Another wrote: “The road is unforgiving. Be careful.” A third said: “Rest in peace, my brother. Thank you for everything you did; I can hardly believe it.” Many people also simply said “rest in peace” or posted crying face or dove emojis.
A fundraising appeal was launched for the influencer’s family to help cover funeral costs, which has currently raised more than £1,500.

One of Melyn’s friends sad: “Today my heart is heavy… My childhood friend, Melvyn, has left us, and I have no words to express my sorrow. We grew up together, shared laughter, memories, moments that will be etched in my heart forever. Melvyn will forever remain in my heart.”
Another friend said: “Melvyn, we’ll miss you… You made us laugh so much, and we’ll keep laughing for you.”
