From Jennifer Coolidge’s success at the Golden Globes 2023 to Prince Harry’s latest interview, here are the top names trending today

Wow, I can’t believe the awards season is already in full swing. I am totally here for it and simply can’t wait for The Oscars. However, before I look too far ahead, let’s deal with the present day first and more importantly the Golden Globes2023.

There were some serious fashion triumphs and dare I say it, a few fashion disasters too! Putting the fashion aside (which is difficult for someone like me), let’s talk about some of the big triumphs of the night. One star who was triumphant last night and goes straight to the top of our hot list is the inimitable and fabulous Jennifer Coolidge.

I have long been a fan of Jennifer and am delighted that she picked up a Golden Globe for her portrayal of Tanya McQuoid in The White Lotus. Her speech was incredibly memorable and it is great to see a woman in her sixties recognised for her talent.

Another woman in her 60th year who was appreciated on the night was Michelle Yeoh who won her first Golden Globe for her role as Eveyln Wang in Everything Everywhere All at Once.

Next up on our hot list is Austin Butler who PeopleWorld has already recognised as someone who we knew would be big news in 2023. Although he has come under criticism today for his ‘Elvis Presley’ twang, let's not take anything away from the man as he did win Best Actor for the portrayal of Elvis in a Drama, Motion Picture.

Last up today is Alan Carr who is reportedly set to replace David Walliams as a judge on Britain’s Got Talent. If this is the case, Alan is certainly worthy of a spot on our hot list today.

Now onto our not so hot list today and Prince Harry is first up… Now Harry’s memoir Spare might be ‘flying off the shelves,’ but I think his ‘advisers’ need to remind him of the ‘less is more’ approach. Yes of course he has to publicise his book, but do we really need to know details of his sex life with Meghan Markle? Some might disagree with me… So do let me know

The next A-list star is Heidi Klum who unfortunately features on my worst dressed list at the Golden Globes list today.

Her barely-there mini dress was a serious no no for me in terms of style. I get that she might have wanted to flaunt her legs, but I also think (in contrast) to Harry, she should have gone for the ‘more’ rather than the ‘less’ approach when it comes to her fashion choices.

Last up is Boris Johnson. It was only a matter of time before the former British Prime Minister made an appearance again. His ‘joke’ that he was at the most unsocially distanced party in the UK during the No 10 lockdown party has not gone down well at all which is completely understandable.
