Hollywood is a fickle place. One minute you can be languishing in ‘no man’s land’ and the next you are catapulted back to stardom. This leads me onto PeopleWorld’s hot list today and actor Adam Sandler who is most definitely back in the limelight for a few reasons.

Not only has Adam Sandler received his first leading actor Screen Actors Guild nomination but he has (believe it or not) been leading the way when it comes to fashion inspiration over the past three years. Yes, you may not think ‘parachute-style’ basketball shorts and oversized t-shirts’ are the epitome of fashion (because I certainly don’t!) but his influence has gone viral.

I wonder if Adam will adopt his ‘casual attire’ or should I say ‘fashion icon attire’ when he attends the SAG awards. Watch this space.

Next up today is singer Shakira. She just had to feature on PeopleWorld’s hot lists for her latest lyrics. “I’m worth two 22’s. You traded a Ferrar for a Twingo. You traded a Rolex for a Casio.” Clearly a swipe at ex-partner Gerard Pique and his new partner Clara Chia Marti, but I am here for it!

Last up today is Taylor Swift. Taylor, along with Harry Styles and Lizzo, leads the way for the 2023 iHeartRadio Music Awards, with an incredible eight nominations each. 2022 was clearly an amazing year for Taylor and if January 2023 looks anything to go by, this year is shaping up very nicely for her too.

Now onto our not so hot list..

First up is a familiar face, Elon Musk who has broken an unwanted record by becoming the person who has undisputedly lost the biggest fortune in history.

Although according to a Guinness World Records report that Musk lost approx $182 billion (£153 billion) since November 2021, some sources believe the figure could be closer to $200 billion.

Ok, I know with the cost of living crisis, one doesn’t have to feel at all sorry for Elon Musk’s loss of fortune. However nobody likes to lose money, particularly when it is those eye watering figures!

Next up is Andrew Bridgen who has been suspended as a Topr MP over his COVID vaccine comments. A Holocaust survivor has rightly responded to his comparing COVID vaccines with the Holocaust as ‘mind-boggling ignorance.’

Last up today is Gordon Ramsay who would have woken up today in a very bad mood. The reason for this is that his new show ‘Next Level Chef’ has received very negative feedback. When your show is described as a ‘kitchen nightmare,’ you can see the reason why PeopleWorld has featured him on our not so hot list today.

I happened to have it on the television last night and after watching it honestly for only a few minutes, I had to turn it off because it was just so bad on so many levels. It seems that the general public and television reviewers were in agreement with me!

As always let me know what you think of today’s hots and nots by emailing [email protected]. I would love to hear from you.
