Could 2023 be Austin Butler’s biggest year to date? Star shortlisted for a Golden Globe and BAFTA Award

The BAFTA Film Awards have just revealed their longlist and it is no surprise to see Austin Butler in there for his role in Elvis. As awards season is fast approaching, Austin is a favourite for many awards in 2023.

Golden Globes rookie Austin Butler has been nominated as Best Actor in a Motion Picture for the ceremony which is due to take place on January 10. For those of you who are getting excited that he might bring his girlfriend supermodel Kaia Gerber with him, be prepared for disappointment.

Austin has just revealed that his date for the Golden Globes will be none other than his sister Ashley. “She’s my one and only sister, so it’ll be nice to be with her,” he is reported to have said. The pair enjoy a close relationship and he gave a shout out to her when he made his debut hosting Saturday Night Live last month.

Austin, who first began in his career with roles on the Disney Channel and Nickelodeon, has become one of the hottest young actors in recent years. His forthcoming role is as Feyd-Rautha in “Dune: Part Two” and will star alongside Zendaya and Timonthee Chalamet who is said to have become great friends with.

It would seem that Austin has become just as successful in his personal life as he has been in his professional one.

He has been enjoying a relationship with supermodel Kaia Gerber, daughter of the legendary Cindy Crawford.

Rumours of a romance between the couple first sparked back in December 2021 when they were spotted attending a yoga class together. In February 2022, they enjoyed a romantic trip to Paris, and in May 2022, were photographed together at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

More recently, Austin and Kaia have been spotted enjoying each other’s company on holiday in Mexico over the New Year. It was clearly a family affair as they were joined on the trip by Kaia’s parents. Cindy Crawford, Rande Gerber, her brother Presley and his girlfriend.

Austin previously dated actress Vanessa Hudgens before getting together with Kaia.
