Bafta Film Awards 2026: Full list of winners - One Battle After Another, Sinners and Hamnet claim gongs as Robert Aramayo named Best Actor

The EE BAFTA Film Awards 2026 took place in London last night (February 22), with some big film and rising stars taking home prestigious gongs.

The annual film award ceremony was held at London’s Royal Festival Hall, with some of the biggest stars in the world descending on the city.

Action-thriller One Battle After Another was the big winners on the night, with the film taking home six awards, This included Best Film, Best Director for Paul Thomas Anderson, and Best Supporting Actor for Sean Penn.

There were also notable wins for Sinners, which became the most decorated film by a black director in BAFTA history, as well as flicks such as Hamnet and Frankenstein.

Arguably the biggest shock of the night came when British actor Robert Aramayo took home the Leading Actor award, beating the likes of Timothee Chalamet and Leonardo DiCaprio to the honour.

Aramayo’s award came for his portrayal of Tourette’s campaigner John Davidson in the biopic flick I Swear. Aramayo, who also won the public-voted EE Rising Star Award, said: “I can’t believe this, it really blows my mind.

“John Davidson is the most remarkable person I’ve ever met and he believes there is so much more we need to learn about Tourette’s. In the words of the film, they need support and understanding.”
