Emily Ratajkowski has revealed her thoughts on both Taylor Swift and Pamela Anderson in an interview with Elle magazine to mark their first-ever impact issue. When it came to Taylor specifically, she said: “She’s another example of a woman who has been faced with such blatant misogyny and sexism, and yet we don’t want to admit that, because she’s powerful and successful, and also she’s white.”

Emily was referring specifically to an interview Taylor Swift did with Ellen DeGeneres that she saw on TikTok. According to E News, “The two-minute TikTok features a split screen from two different Taylor Interviews. The top panel, from her 2019 interview with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe sees the “Anti-Hero” singer recount interviews from earlier in her career focusing exclusively on her love life.”

The other interview featured on the clip was from the Ellen DeGeneres show where Taylor was shown pictures of men such as Justin Timberlake and Justin Bieber and asked to ring a bell when a photograph landed on one of her famous ex partners.

In the interview with Ellen, Taylor showed her discomfort at Ellen’s question and said “Stop it, stop it, stop! This makes me feel so bad about myself.”

Emily and Taylor are clearly friends with one another as Emily shared a video clip of the pair on her TikTok. According to Elle in November 2022, “In the clip, posted on October 31, Ratajkowski is seen frolicking around with her friend as they walk their dogs, all the while lip syncing to Swift’s song ‘Karma’ from her 2022 album Midnights.”

In her most recent interview with Elle, Emily also discussed Baywatch star Pamela Anderson, who she revealed would be a ‘dream guest’ on her podcast. “The way that women have treated her is almost as shocking as the way men have treated her.”

High Low with EmRata. In an interview with Forbes, she said: “I used to really die on the word feminism; it was so important to me that I identified as a feminist, but I now kind of have evolved a little bit.”
