It’s been a rough few months for Henry Cavill, he didn’t get the James Bond although no-one else has been confirmed yet, he was replaced by David Corenswet as the new Superman and his one cameo scene in the new movie The Flash was cut from the final edit.

Thankfully there is good news: The Witcher season three has just landed on Netflix! Yes, we will be binge-watching this weekend, however it will sadly be the actor's last playing monster slayer 'Geralt of Rivia' as he is set to be replaced by Liam Hemsworth in season four. He just can’t seem to catch a break!

Don’t worry though Henry, the self confessed gaming ‘nerd’ won’t be staying at home and playing his favourite game ‘Warhammer’ he actually has plenty of work on right now.

According to his IMDB profile the British actor has six upcoming projects in the works with two movies due out next year.

‘Argylle’ is a about the great spy in the world that gets caught up in his globe trotting adventures is also stars Samuel L. Jackson, Bryce Dallas Howard and popstar Dua Lipa - who is also starring in this year's Barbie movie. Argylle is currently in post production and due out in 2024.

Directed by Guy Ritchie, ‘The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare’ is about how the British military recruits a small group of highly-skilled soldiers to strike against Nazi forces. It  feels like a typical Guy Ritchie gangster movie - which we love - and has a great cast of British actors starring alongside Henry including; Alex Pettyfer, Henry Golding and Hero Fiennes Tiffin. It is also in post production and due out in 2024.

Henry is meant to be starring in the ‘The Rosie Project’ directed by Steve Falk. The romance movie is based on the book by the same name and written by Graeme Simsion although there is not much else known about who will be in it and when it will be released.

There are rumours that the actor could be starring as the lead role in the reboot of ‘Highlander’ and fans are calling for him to be the ‘Lich King’ in the sequel to the 2016 Warcraft film which will be ‘Warcraft: The Beginning’ if it ever happens.

The Guardian reported that Amazon Studios announced that they have plans to create a Warhammer 40K adaptation with Henry set to star in and executive produce the Warhammer franchise across all Amazon Studios productions. As a huge fan of the game we are sure this will be the actors most preferred project to work on.
