LucasFilm has dropped the first look at the highly anticipated fifth Indiana Jones movie. The trailer was first shown to fans at Brazil Comic Con #CCXP2022, and was released online shortly after.

The film will see Harrison Ford return to the iconic role, and the trailer is jam packed with action as well as news fans have been waiting for.

The trailer revealed the latest Indiana Jones film will be released under the title Indiana Jones and The Dial of Destiny, as well as a first look at Phoebe Waller-Bridge in a brand new role who is set to play Helena, Jones’ goddaughter. The pair seem to have a great chemistry with jokes bouncing off each other.

Even after the trailer, plot details remain vague and there is no doubt that the film will follow in the footsteps of its predecessors like The Temple of Doom and be packed full of adrenaline and chaos. However, the trailer did feature a de-aged Harrison Ford in action confirming reports that Indy 5 will feature extended flashbacks to the original era of the hero before jumping to 1969.

How to watch Indiana Jones and The Dial of Destiny

The film will be released exclusively in cinemas. There is no information yet on when tickets will be available for pre-order but stay tuned as PeopleWorld will keep you up to date on all things Indiana Jones.

After a theatrical release it’s likely that the film will be available for streaming on Disney+ as the film has been produced by LucasFilm which is owned by Disney.
