Johnny Depp comeback movie to kick off Cannes Film Festival 2023 while Kid Rock’s violent reaction goes viral

Love him or loathe him, Johnny Depp certainly provokes strong reactions (both positive and negative) in lots of people. Johnny is hot today because it would seem that his career could be on the ‘rise’ thanks to his new movie ‘Jeanne du Barry,’ which will open the Cannes Film Festival 2023. Whatever you think of him, that is pretty huge!

Next up on our list is another Hollywood actress Ana de Armas. She is certainly big news right now and is to star in the ‘John Wick’ spinoff, ‘Ballerina’ that is set for release in June of 2024. Ana has been photographed with co-star Chris Evans recently doing the press rounds for their upcoming film, ‘Ghosted’ and her career seems to be going from strength to strength.

The final ‘star’ on our ‘hot list’ is King Charles. As his coronation starts to get nearer, King Charles is at the York Minster today for his first Maundy Thursday as monarch. Every year of her late Majesty’s reign, Queen Elizabeth 11 and Prince Philip took part in the Royal Maundy Service, but the King (then Prince Charles), stepped in for her last year. 

So, who is featured on PeopleWorld’s ‘not so hot list’ today?

First up is Kid Rock. Following Bud Light’s collaboration with transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney, Kid Rock unfortunately had a very ‘violent’ reaction. According to Rolling Stone, Kid Rock “aimed his MP5 submarine gun at a display of Bud Light 12-packs and squeezed off a good number of rounds, exploding some while appearing to miss one box entirely.” 

I don’t think I can add any more to this than to say it is pretty clear why PeopleWorld decided to make Kid Rock a ‘not’ today.

Next up is Kim Kardashian. Most of us may not have forgotten about the Balenciaga ‘ad controversy’ but it seems Kim may have done. She was recently spotted wearing the designer label on her recent trip to Tokyo. As if that wasn’t enough to make her a ‘not,’ her nine year old daughter was spotted flaunting a $3.5K Prada bag. 

Yes, Kim you are perfectly entitled to bring your daughter up the way you want, but $3.5K designer bag for a nine year old, surely even you can see why some might think that is a bit much!

Chris Eubank Sr. takes the last position on our ‘not so hot’ list today. Reports have come in that he quit Channel 4’s upcoming reality TV series Scared Of The Dark because he reportedly wasn’t allowed to smoke cannabis. Although sources to him are denying these claims, he doesn’t appear to have said why he decided to not take part in the show.
