Kevin Spacey was back in court over sexual assault allegations. The actor, 63, took to the stand at London’s Southwark Crown court as has been accused of 12 sex offences which allegedly took place between 2001 and 2013 in the UK.

The Oscar winning actor is best known for his roles in films such as ‘The Usual Suspects,’ ‘American Beauty’ and the TV series ‘House of Cards’. Kevin played the lead role of Francis Underwood for five series before he was removed from the show after allegations of sexual misconduct surfaced against him.

The Netflix series won a number of accolades with Kevin winning the Golden Globe for Best Performance in 2015 and the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Drama Series in 2015 and 2016.

Kevin is an American actor, director, screenwriter, and producer. He started his career in the theatre starring in Broadway productions such as 'Ghosts' and 'Sleuth' and 'The Seagull.'

After a brief spell in TV series Kevin focused his sights on film and featured in the 1989 movie 'See No Evil, Hear No Evil' alongside Gene Wilder and Richard Pryor. Critics soon began to take notice and he went on to win an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor with his role in ‘The Usual Suspects' (1995).

The actor currently lives in Baltimore in the US but lived in London for over a decade. He was the artistic director of the Old Vic theatre in London from 2004 until stepping down in 2015.
