On December 5, a Hollywood’s film and TV icon sadly passed away. Kirstie Alley, the Emmy-winning actress from ‘Cheers’ and ‘Look Who’s Talking’, died after a cancer battle.
The Kansas-born actress’ family have kept details of her passing private, but famous friends from the industry have been quick to pay tribute to Alley.

Hide AdOne person who seemed particularly upset by Alley’s passing was fellow ‘Look Who’s Talking’ actor John Travolta.
The two enjoyed a long friendship after being co-stars in the rom-com, with constant rumour of a much deeper relationship as Alley once professed her “love” for John.
In a tribute post, Travolta described their bond as “one of the most special relationships I’ve ever had”.

He has reciprocated the idea of a close relationship as he called Alley his “soulmate” in an interview with US Weekly in 2019.
Although the pair never entered a real relationship with one another, they remained close friends over the years.
