One person who seemed particularly upset by Alley’s passing was fellow ‘Look Who’s Talking’ actor John Travolta.

The two enjoyed a long friendship after being co-stars in the rom-com, with constant rumour of a much deeper relationship as Alley once professed her “love” for John.

In a tribute post, Travolta described their bond as “one of the most special relationships I’ve ever had”.

We take a look back at their special friendship, and other Hollywood co-stars with friendships that stood the test of time.

As DiCaprio and Winslet fell in love on-screen in Titanic all those years ago, it’s easy to say that the world fell in love with the pair too.

The 1997 romantic-disaster film is still a tear-jerker for many, as is Leo and Kate’s enduring love for one another.

Winslet famously spoke on their relationship at the 2009 Golden Globes where Kate won two awards.

She said: “Leo, I'm so happy I can stand here and tell you how much I love and how much I've loved you for 13 years.”
