Lily-Rose Depp celebrates her birthday after Cannes debut and confirming new romance with girlfriend 070 Shake

It’s been a very busy couple of weeks for Lily-Rose Depp. The model turned actress made her debut at Cannes Film Festival for her starring role in ‘The Idol’ which also stars The Weeknd (Abel Tesfaye). The actress also confirmed her new romance with girlfriend 070 Shakes real name Danielle Balbuena. 

Lily-Rose is celebrating her 24th birthday today (May 27) and after such a crazy few weeks we are sure she will be putting her feet up.

The HBO series ‘The Idol’ has received mixed reviews from critics and was dubbed "toxic and way worse than you've heard" according to a Rolling Stone reviewer. Her father Johnny Depp who was also at Cannes this week for his film premiere ‘Jeanne du Barry’. Lily-Rose is also the daughter of French model Vanessa Paradis.

The actress has had a few small roles in films, including the independent horror movie Tusk, period drama The Dancer and The King which was based on a play by William Shakespeare. The Idol will be her first major role. Lily-Rose is also a brand ambassador for luxury French fashion house Chanel. In 2016 the late Karl Lagerfeld announced that she would be the face for the iconic Chanel No.5 perfume.

Speaking to actress Drew Barrymore on 'The Drew Barrymore Show' Lily-Rose revealed that she likes to try and keep her private life private. She said "The value of privacy is something that’s been instilled in me from an early age. Growing up in a family like I did, it was always something that was—I always learned the importance of privacy and valuing that and keeping things just for yourself."

Lily-Rose recently confirmed her relationship with rapper 070 Shakes after months of speculation by posting a picture on her Instagram stories with the text “4 months with my crush.” The rapper also shared a sweet pic of the couple on her own social media. 

The rapper rose to fame after being featured on Kanye West’s album ‘Ye.’ The couple sparked dating rumours after they were seen together at Paris fashion week back in February. The pairs first public appearance at the fashion show coincided with ex-boyfriend Timothée Chalamet rumours that he was dating Kylie Jenner - hmmmm me thinks this was deliberate maybe.

Lily-Rose dated actor Timothée for two years before calling it quits in 2020. The former couple made headlines after being seen awkwardly kissing on a yacht with fans asking if it was a PR stunt. 

The Chanel ambassador definitely had a thing for good looking actors after she was linked to Austin Butler. The pair were spotted kissing in London in 2021 just a few months before he started dating model Kaia Gerber. 

Lily-Rose was also linked to rapper Yassine Stein and dated model Ash Stymest for three years.
