Lindsay Lohan announced that she is pregnant with her first child but who is her husband Bader Shammas?

Mean Girls star Lindsay Lohan took to social media to share the exciting news that she is expecting a baby with husband Bader Shammas. The actress, 36, shared an image of a white baby-grow with the words 'coming soon...' written in black. The caption read: 'We are blessed and excited!'

The Parent Trap star recently returned to acting after starring in the Netflix Christmas film ‘Falling for Christmas’ her first lead role since 'The Canyons' in 2013. 

It will be Lindsay's first child with financier Bader who she secretly married in April 2022. It seems as though Bader prefers to stay out of the spotlight, as his Instagram is set to private and he currently only has over 700 followers. He does, however, feature in the odd loved-up snap on wife Lindsay’s feed.  

The 36 year old financier is from Kuwait and acts as the assistant vice president at banking firm Credit Suisse. It is an international wealth management company based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Bader studied in the United States and graduated from the University of South Florida in Mechanical Engineering in 2010 and received a Bachelor of Science in Finance degree from John H. Sykes College of Business. His exact net-worth has not been revealed but several outlets have estimated around $100 million. 

According to Page Six, the couple are said to have met and started dating in 2018 when the actress moved to Dubai . In November 2021, Lindsay shared a picture of the two of them snuggled up together with her 12 million Instagram fans announcing that the couple had got engaged: 'My love. My life. My family. My future. 11.11.21.' Bader reportedly asked her to marry him with a custom made ring estimated to be worth $250,000 by Harry Winston. 

Lindsay referred to Bader as her ‘husband’ for the first time on social media in July 2022. The actress wrote: 'I am the luckiest woman in the world. You found me and knew that I wanted to find happiness and grace, all at the same time. I am stunned that you are my husband. My life and my everything. Every woman should feel like this everyday.' The mum-to-be later confirmed they had secretly tied the knot in April 2022 and honeymooned in the Turkish Riviera.

The couple are now expecting their first child together and speaking to TMZ Lindsay said: "We are very excited for our new family member to arrive and we are looking forward to this next chapter of our lives!"

If the Hollywood actress has stuck to tradition and waited the recommended 12 weeks before announcing her pregnancy we predict the baby will be born around September 2023.
