Margot Robbie misses the mark at Chanel Cruise 2023/24 show as newlywed Sofia Richie-Grainge looks stunning

Margot Robbie has become a fashion icon in her own right often walking the red carpet in the most stunning dresses. Her style is a mix of Old Hollywood glamour meets modern minimalist. Luxury fashion brand Chanel has appointed her as ambassador for her eye for fashion and other celebrities including Holly Willoughby have been known to copy her style. 

That being said, her outfit choice at the Chanel Cruise 2023/24 in LA was somewhat disappointing. The Barbie actress wore a black bikini top with 70s style flared jeans and a metallic waistcoat paired with a classic quilted black Chanel bag. The actress wore her long golden locks down with Californian beach waves giving us ultimate 70s vibes. 

Each individual item for this outfit was perfect except for the black bikini top, that just ruined it, it would have looked so much better with just a simple vest or t-shirt or even crop top underneath. There are a few fashion trends that I just can't get on board with especially when walking the the red carpet. Swimwear is definitely not red carpet attire and neither in underwear as outerwear. Sorry Margot it's a no from me.

The Harley Quinn actress may be super proud of her abs right now but it’s no reason to keep getting them out. It’s the third time Margot has showcased her toned midriff; the actress recently wore an elegant one shoulder black dress at the Met Gala but the see-through material around the middle let the whole outfit down. The actress wore a pink gingham co-ord with stomach on show at the CinemaCon red carpet photo call for Barbie.

It’s a little disheartening that in 2023 some women still feel the need to show off their skin in order to look sexy. What ever happened to ‘less is more’ and ‘leave a little mystery.’ I’m not for one second saying women can’t or shouldn’t show off their bodies. It just saddens me to think that elegance and sophistication is being lost on getting your boobs or stomach out. 

Margot wasn’t the only Chanel ambassador at the event newly wed Sofia Richie-Grainge wore a beautiful white ensemble with feather detail. The model recently wore three different Chanel dresses for her wedding to music executive Elliot Grainge. 

Kristen Stewart looked chic in black and white tweed style suit and Paris Hilton wore a pastel pink mini dress with matching cardigan pink Chanel bag.
