Triumphant Michelle Yeoh dazzles in Dior at the Oscars while Hugh Grant shuts down Ashley Graham

Michelle Yeoh can’t be having a better Monday than today. Not only did she look incredible in Dior at the 95th Academy Awards, but she made history by becoming the first actress of Asian origin to win the Best Actress award. Wow, Michelle, just wow!

Michelle without question takes the top spot on PeopleWorld’s hot list today…. I particularly like the part of her acceptance speech when she said: “And ladies, don't let anyone ever tell you you are past your prime…” Exactly Michelle, you tell them. 

The Oscars are certainly dominating our hot list as Brendan Fraser takes the number two spot. The actor took home the award for best actor for his role in The Whale and beat the likes of The Banshees of Inisherin’s Colin Farrell and of course Oscars favourite, Elvis’s Austin Butler. 

The last star on our hot list is Gary Lineker (the only one who is not Oscars related). The television presenter returns to Match of the Day as the BBC have announced an independent review is set to be carried out on social media guidelines. 

Garry Linker took to Twitter to share the following: “After a surreal few days, I’m delighted that we have navigated a way through this. I want to thank you for all the incredible support, particularly my colleagues at BBC Sport, for the remarkable show of solidarity.”

Now who is featured on PeopleWorld’s not so hot list today?

First up is Hugh Grant. If you haven’t seen his interview with Ashley Graham, be prepared! She asked him the following question: “What are you most excited to see tonight?”

He replied by saying: “No one in particular.” Ashley then persevered and asked him what he was wearing. Hugh replied: “Just my suit?”

The interview was awkward to say the least and Hugh appeared nonchalant and blunt!

Next up today is Maya Jama who accidentally revealed the dumped Love Island couple before the show revealing who they were was aired. Oh dear oh dear, the ‘accidental reveal’ did not go down well in my household last night!

Last up today is singer Tems who featured on PeopleWorld’s worst dressed stars from the Oscars list. However, this is not the reason why we are featuring her. It is because we feel sorry for anyone sitting behind her at the Oscars ceremony as her headpiece would have prevented people behind her seeing what was going on!
