A big congratulations to Rebel Wilson, who over the weekend revealed that her partner, Ramona Agruma, proposed to her. Wilson, star of the Pitch Perfect franchise, spilled the news to her followers on Instagram, posing in front of the iconic Magic Castle at Disneyland in Los Angeles.
The two images shared with Wilson’s followers showed the pair kneeling in front of the Magic Castle, followed by a picture of the two kissing with the engagement ring at the forefront of the picture. The diamond engagement ring was purchased from hallowed jeweller Tiffany & Co, as Wilson thanked Bob Iger (Disney CEO) and the staff at Disneyland Los Angeles for helping create a magical moment.

Hide AdSpeaking about her relationship with Agruma, Wilson disclosed her issues regarding support during her previous relationships.”’There were times — I’m not saying with all my exes, they’re great — but there were some times that I was probably putting up with that I shouldn’t have. So it feels different to be in a really healthy relationship.”
The pair were rumoured to be dating after several public appearances with each other throughout 2022. Wilson came out to reveal that she was a lesbian and that she was dating Agruma after a gossip columnist for the Sydney Morning Herald in October 2022 asked her for a comment before they would go ahead and publish a piece outing her.
“I just thought it was kind of grubby behaviour,” Wilson said about the situation involving gossip columnist Andrew Hornery. “Basically, with the situation where a journalist is threatening to out you, you’ve got to hurry, and some people we didn’t get a chance to tell before it came out publicly. And that’s not ideal.”
Hornery later complained about Wilson coming out that it “gazumped” his story for the celebrity pages, and that he did allow Rebel Wilson’s representatives two days grace before publishing the piece - instead, Wilson decided to take agency and announce her new “Disney Princess” herself.

Hide AdRebel Wilson and Ramona Agruma aren’t the only celebrity couples to celebrate their impending, or in some cases pre-existing, nuptials at the happy place on earth. Here are five more celebrity couples that celebrated finding their better halves (at the time) at the House that the Mouse built.
Holly Madison and Pasquale Rotella
The former Playboy model and star of VH1 reality series The Girls of the Playboy Mansion Holly Madison didn’t think it was enough for her then-beau, businessman Pasquale Rotella, to propose to her at Disneyland. Oh no - instead, the former girls of Playboy magnate Hugh Hefner wanted to have the entire wedding ceremony at the happiest place on earth.
She and her groom exchanged vows on a flower-covered platform, posed in front of the iconic Disney castle and rode in Cinderella’s glass pumpkin coach. The extravagant ceremony, attended by 150 friends and family, occurred after the California theme park was shut down for the night. The party ended with fireworks - the marriage ended in 2019
Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon
To celebrate their fifth wedding anniversary, Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon decided to renew their vows at Disneyland in 2013. A reception in Fantasyland, deejayed by Cannon and accented by 15,000 flowers imported from South Africa, Holland and France and 10,000 crystals.

Such were the memories of the event that Nick Cannon decided to file for divorce from Mariah Carey only 12 months later.
Rob Dyrdek and Bryiana Noelle
Don’t you hate when audience members interrupt a stage show or a performance, right when you start to suspend your belief - especially when it comes to the nuances that stem from watching a live performance of Aladdin at Disneyland.
Audience members won’t feel too hard done by though with the reason for the interruption in 2015 when skateboarder and entrepreneur Rob Drydek took to the stage to pop the question to his girlfriend at the time, Briayana Noelle.
Taking to Twitter, Drydek wrote “She was definitely confused, but not surprised. When you date me you become accustomed to my version of normal." They married five months later.
Kaley Cuoco and Karl Cook

Hide AdAt the height of her fame with The Big Bang Theory, actress Kaley Cuoco must have felt she had the world at her feet. But even for the girl who can have everything (at that stage), there is still no monetary value being made to feel like a Disney princess.
In December 2017, Cuoco and her beau, Karl Cook went to Disneyland with a small group of friends to celebrate the engagement. "He took me to Disneyland and it was pure magic," Cuoco informed her Instagram followers. "Mad love for this group that surrounds me!"
John Stamos and Caitlin McHugh
Have mercy! The former Uncle Jesse from Full House was dating Caitlin McHugh for two years before he finally popped the question in 2017, despite the pair being known as frequent visitors to the House of Mouse. Stamos made a short film of romantic moments from animated Pixar and Disney films, ending the display with The Little Mermaid - which encouraged Stamos to "just ask the girl."
The pair returned to Disneyland for their honeymoon in 2018, shortly after the big day, and continue to be regulars at the happiest place on earth ever since.
