Sofia Vergara, Katy Perry and Amal Clooney among the stars enjoying European holiday breaks despite heatwave

Europe is currently facing the highest temperatures since records began, with temperatures in Greece, Spain and Italy reaching as high as over 40 degrees. But that doesn’t stop the A-Listers from enjoying their lavish holidays around the European cities. 

Newly single Sofia Vergara, 51, has been enjoying her vay-cay in Ravello, Italy. The Modern Family actress recently split from husband of seven years Joe Manganiello. Sofia has been sharing plenty of snaps enjoying the sites and restaurants as well as some sun-soaked bikini-clad pics on her Instagram. Not sure if we are jealous of her holiday in the sunshine or her incredible figure. 

Katy Perry and fiancé Orlando Bloom looked effortlessly stylish as they were spotted in the luxurious St Tropez in the South of France. The couple who share daughter Daisy also joined them on their trip. Katy embraced the Parisian style wearing a white shirt over a white dress and paired with a tan handbag. The popstar and British actor looked relaxed as they were seen near their lavish yacht.

The Clooney's recently enjoyed a date night in Lake Como, Italy. Actor George Clooney and wife Amal reportedly own a house nearby the Grand Hotel Tremezzo restaurant where they dined. The couple married in the Italian city of Venice in 2014 but often holiday in Lake Como. 

Formula One racing driver Lewis Hamilton who was placed third at the British Grand Prix recently enjoyed a break in Ibiza. The F1 driver who was previously linked to singer Shakira was reportedly seen stepping out for dinner with NBA star Jimmy Butler.
