Just when you think the new James Bond is about to be announced someone else's name gets thrown into the mix. The discussion over who will play James Bond next has been going on and on for the past few years when Daniel Craig announced he was done playing the MI6 agent and ‘No Time To Die’ would be his last film in the role.
The list of names in the running to replace him has been endless with the likes of Luther actor Idris Elba, Kingsmen star Taron Egerton, Happy Valley’s James Norton and Bridgerton's heartthrob Rege-Jean Page.

Henry celebrates his 40th Birthday today (May 5) and according to a spokesperson from William Hill is in second place for the role with odds 5-2. Aaron is currently top with 11-8 chance. But out of nowhere this week Gangs of London actor Paapa Essiedu shot up to joint third with James Norton and now has a 3/1 chance of being the next 007.
It could be another blow for Henry as in December he announced he wouldn't be returning as Superman in the DC franchise. Then Netflix announced that he wouldn’t be returning as Geralt of Rivia in season four of The Witcher. It was rumoured he would be in the next Highlander reboot but after many delays fans are worried he may lose the lead role in that too.
Although it seems the self-proclaimed nerd (Warhammer being his favourite) the gamer can’t seem to catch a break he does have a few upcoming projects. He is set to star in a spy film (so not all bad if he doesn’t get the James Bond gig), Argyle also starring Bryce Dallas Howard, and singer Dua Lipa.
