Halle Berry’s most recent new look has sparked rumours that she could return to Marvel as part of the MCU. Berry famously played Storm in the X-Men franchise, and was a fan favourite alongside co-star Hugh Jackman.

While the X-Men have yet to make an appearance in the current Marvel Cinematic Universe, Marvel boss and producer, Kevin Fiege has said that they would be coming soon. Not to mention, Hugh Jackman has been confirmed to make his iconic return to the character of Wolverine opposite Ryan Reynolds in the upcoming Deadpool 3.

Berry shared a picture to Instagram in which she is rocking the silver hair look once again. While it isn’t an exact match to the hairstyle she used as Ororo Munroe in four separate X-Men movies, the similarity in colour is too close to the original to ignore.

The image is no confirmation of Berry’s appearance in the film, and production is still very much in the early stages. However, fans could not contain their excitement. The threequel will mark the first time Ryan Reynolds Deadpool will officially appear in the MCU, and continues the introduction of mutants into the cinematic universe.

Additionally, the current version of the MCU is titled ‘The Multiverse Saga’ which will see a broad range of possibilities available for future projects which were previously contained to one timeline.

Marvel previously brought back Toby McGuire and Andrew Garfield to play Spider-Man once again opposite Tom Holland in Spider-Man: No Way Home, much to the delight of fans. So, those hoping for the return of Halle Berry’s Storm may not have to wait too much longer.
