What are the Switch OLED features?

The main appeal of the Nintendo Switch OLED is its organic light emitting diode display, or OLED for short.

OLED technology is widely regarded as one of the best display technologies around. Unlike an LCD screen, it doesn’t rely on a backlight to display images, and instead uses light emitting by each individual pixel, meaning you can get better looking blacks and higher contrast levels in the image.

The display of the Switch OLED is also larger than the original Switch, now sitting at seven inches.

The device now comes with an adjustable stand and enhanced audio quality. The speakers on the Switch itself have been improved for a better experience when playing in the handheld or tabletop mode.

Another new feature to the Switch OLED is wired LAN support. This will allow online gameplay to be more stable for those who struggle to have a good Wifi connection in their household.

Finally, the device will come with improved storage. The Switch OLED will have 64GB internal storage, compared to the 32GB on the original model.
