Fans are treated to a look at Ariana Grande’s ‘Glinda’ from Wicked while Rishi Sunak faces probe by watchdog

Wicked fans were in for a treat on Tuesday 18 April 2023. Ariana Grande has been pictured in costume as ‘Glinda’ from Wicked looking resplendent ‘all in pink.’ For those of you who don’t know, I LOVE the colour pink. However, that is not the reason why PeopleWorld decided to catapult Ariana to the top of our hot list today….

We are certainly ‘Team Ariana’ after the star was forced to take to social media to discuss body shaming. However, she is HOT today because along with Wicked fans, we can’t wait to see her performance as Glinda in the adaptation of the Broadway musical. 

Next up is Sir Elton John. Kate Garraway, her husband Derek Draper (who suffers from long covid) and two children were special guests at Sir Elton’s recent London performance. During the show, Sir Elton paid tribute to them by calling the couple ‘inspiring.’ He also said that “They’ve never given up and I’m so thrilled they’re here.” 

The last star on PeopleWorld’s hot list today is Miley Cyrus. Her self-love anthem Flowers has remained number one on the worldwide charts for an incredible 12 weeks and she took to social media to express her thanks to her fans. “Flowers is spending a 12th week globally at #1 thanks to YOU. Gratitude.”

Now, who are the stars on PeopleWorld’s ‘not so hot’ list?

First up is Rishi Sunak who hasn’t had a great start to his week! He is set to face a probe by an ethics watchdog regarding his wife Akshata Murty’s holdings in a childcare agency.

 Next up is Katie Price. She has been criticised by campaigners for driving her £60,000 Hummer in reportedly ‘flimsy sliders.’ This comes after she returns to driving after a two-year ban! Oh dear, Katie, perhaps opt for sensible shoes from now on?

Last up today is Roman Kemp. Although he has poked fun at himself for losing his shorts in a thermal river whilst holidaying in Costa Rica, I agree with him that there is not a lot of ‘sexiness and decorum’ in that, particularly when your parents have to see it!
