Britney Spears memoir put on hold due to legal concerns over claims she had affairs with two Hollywood stars

Hollywood stars are quaking in their boots over what singer Britney Spears may have written about them in her tell-all autobiography and now legal teams have sent letters. 

The Toxic singer will reportedly reveal everything about the affairs she had with two A-List celebrities that she has kept under wraps for several years. According to The Sun lawyers of those who are worried have sent letters of concern to publisher Simon & Schuster.

A source said “Britney is brutally honest in the book — there are a lot of nervous A-listers. Strongly worded legal letters have been sent to the publishers by people who know Britney and who fear what she has written.”

This has now led to the book being put on hold, it was due to come out in February but we can now expect it later this year. 

The £12 million book deal will detail her 13 year long conservatorship, her marriage to third husband Sam Asghari, 29 as well as topics she hasn’t spoken about publicly before, all with the help of ghost writer Sam Lansky.  

Thanks to her conservatorship Britney has stayed quiet about her past and has been bottling up a lot of secrets over the years. So we are sure many celebrities are quaking in their boots right now worrying about what she will reveal. 

The question is who should be scared most of all? 

Justin Timberlake 

They were pop royalty and the couple dated for three years from 1999 to 2002. The pair first  met whilst filming the Mickey Mouse Club. It was rumoured that Britney was unfaithful and that was the reason for the split. 

Justin seemingly confirmed this when a Britney look-a-like featured in his music video ‘Cry Me a River’. The singer revealed in his 2018 book Hindsight: & All the Things I Can’t See in Front of Me that he wrote the song in two hours after being scorned.

However Justin apologised to Britney for his past behaviour after the documentary ‘Framing Britney  Spears' was released. In a statement the Sexy Back singer said “I am deeply sorry for the times in my life where my actions contributed to the problem, where I spoke out of turn, or did not speak up for what was right.”

Fred Durst 

The singer was linked to the Limp Bizkit frontman after reportedly asking him to pen songs for her next album. It allegedly turned into something more than just a work relationship and the pair became romantically involved. 

Although Britney denied there was any kind of relationship and she didn’t really know Fred that well. Fred told MTV “I always stay true to my heart and true to everything I did and my intentions, and I am in no way a liar."

Kevin Federline

Kevin is the father of her two sons Sean Preston and Jayden James. The couple were married for three years but split in 2007. The pair continue to co-parent the boys, but have had a rocky relationship since they split. Britney may have a lot to say about the back-up dancer. 

Britney was also rumoured to have dated actor Jared Leto at the same time her Ex Justin was dating Jared’s ex Cameron Diaz. 

Britney was also said to have had a rumoured fling with actor Colin Farrell after the pair arrived at the premiere of The Recruit together and were later seen kissing on his balcony
