As Britney Spears throws a 'wild divorce party’ we look at which other celebrities celebrated in the same way

Britney Spears appeared to be in good spirits as she partied with a group of male friends after recently confirming she is set to divorce third husband Sam Asghari. 

The pop star, 41, shared a video of herself in what appeared to be a ‘divorce party’. The singer wore a skin-tight green dress as she partied with friends. The clip shared on her Instagram account sees one of her pals licking her leg. In another shot the ‘Toxic’ singer is held up and lying across the arms of four topless men. 

The caption read “When you go to meet up with a so called “friend” and drive an hour for chicken !!! Then you have to wait in the car and need to use the bathroom ... I knew paps were tipped off because the car I was in was never used before … so how I was I followed ??? Malibu Canyon Road is the most horrible road ever to drive on ... so what does a bitch like me do !!??! I put my green dress on and show up at my friends !!! I invited my fav boys over and PLAYED ALL NIGHT !!!”

It's the latest video shared on social media after she previously shared a clip of herself pole dancing in leopard print bikini to Nine Inch Nails track 'Closer'. Another video the singer shared online sees her rolling around a bed topless wearing just a pair of pink pants and black boots to the Annie Lennox version of 'I Put a Spell on You'.

Britney and her husband of one year Iranian model/actor Sam Asghari recently announced they have split and are set to divorce. Sam is the singer’s third husband; she was previously married to dancer and the father of her two sons Kevin Federline and childhood friend Jason Alexander. 

The pop superstar is set to release her memoir 'The Woman in Me' in October and will feature her exes including Justin Timberlake and Colin Farrell. According to The Mirror Britney is "rewriting her memoir to include her divorce battle".

Britney Spears isn’t the first star to celebrate the end of a marriage with a divorce party. Kim Kardashian hired a private island to celebrate her divorce from Kanye West. 

Selling Sunset star Bre Tiesi enjoyed a stunning red divorce cake in the shape of a broken heart at her party when she split from NFL player Johnny Manziel. The text on the cake read “I Do, I did, I’m done’ ‘Divorced at last’. 

Never one to be out done on a party Katie Price enjoyed a three day divorce party in Ibiza when her marriage to Peter Andre ended. 

It seems 2023 could be the year for the ultimate divorce parties. We wonder if Sofia Vergara has anything planned for when her divorce from Joe Manganiello is finalised or Ariana Grande as she is set to divorce from Dalton Gomez.
