Since the launch of Instagram in 2010 we have been adding filters to improve our selfies. Trying our best to look as good as the Kardashian's and keep up with today's 'beauty standards'. So it comes as a refreshing change to see that celebrities are steering away from the beauty-filters and sharing more natural images on social media.
With many celebrities choosing to give themselves a 'makeunder' is it time they ditch the filters and be more honest about their beauty struggles?

Hide AdDoja Cat has been praised by fans for normalising acne. She shared an unfiltered close-up image of her forehead with acne breakout. The rapper attended the iHeartRadio Music Awards and won the Most Played Artist award.
Taking to Instagram after the event Doja Cat thanked fans for her award and then shared the filter-free image on her Instagram stories.
According to the National Library of Medicine “Acne is estimated to affect 9.4% of the global population, making it the eighth most prevalent disease worldwide.”
The 'Say-So' singer has been sharing an open and honest account about her body lately. She recently shared that she was recovering from breast surgery and liposuction.

Hide AdAfter fans left comments on Twitter about how she had surgery to get a bigger breasts and liposuction was sucking fat out of one part of her body and putting in another (which is called fat-transfer not liposuction).
The rapper corrected them explaining that she had gone ‘smaller’ with her breasts making them a size ‘32C’ and confirming “I did not get a fat transfer.”
Doja Cat is one of a few celebrities that are being more transparent about their bodies and now opting for a more natural look. Blac Chyna revealed that she is ditching the fillers as she undertakes a make-under overhaul.
Rapper Cardi B also admitted that she is having surgery to remove fillers from her derriere.
