Glastonbury 2023; Sir Paul McCartney watches Guns ‘n’ Roses while Tilda Swinton performs at Worthy Farm

Who from the celebrity world was spotted attending Glastonbury Festival 2023 over the weekend?

Music festivals - what other event brings out a who’s who of celebrities voluntarily to stand on the side of the stage and watch some of their favourite bands. Who also would have thought Sir Paul McCartney was a Guns ‘n’ Roses fan, unless he was keeping a steely eye on their cover of “Live and Let Die,” originally recorded by McCartney’s post Beatles group, Wings?

But Glastonbury Festival is to the British glitterati what Coachella Festival is to their US counterparts; an opportunity to catch some live music in the glorious sun and be spotted just enjoying the music. Unless you happen to be Tilda Swinton or Cate Blanchett - both of which performed in capacities at Glastonbury 2023.

Among the names spotted (but unfortunately we didn’t capture) included Louis Theroux also enjoying Guns ‘n’ Roses, Matt Healy probably not enjoying Rina Sawayama’s set where she publicly called him out, and Sienna Miller adorned in her wellington’s despite the rather dry, sunny conditions in Somerset over the weekend.

Then there was Holly Willoughby, who arrived at the festival by helicopter, allegedly, prompting calls why a band as big and renowned as Foo Fighters are happy to catch a train to Glastonbury Festival, yet the “This Morning” presenter decided to arrive by helicopter. We don’t even think the notorious prickly Axl Rose went to that length - and I am sure there’ll be more about this optic in the wake of Philip Schofield and “Queuegate” from someone here at PeopleWorld.

But until then, take a look at some of the celebrities spotted at Worthy Farm at this year’s Glastonbury Festival in our gallery below!
