Joss Stone is fast becoming the comeback Queen of 2022 after a stunning performance at the 100th annual White House Christmas tree lighting ceremony in Washington D.C.

On November, 30, the singer wowed in a red sequined gown which was adorned with sequins and feathers and paired with a pair of opera gloves of the same bold colour.

The star studded event was hosted by LL Cool J, and as well as Joss Stone, there were performances by Ariana DeBose and music from the US Marine Band.

The exciting performances come after the release of her first ever Christmas album ‘Merry Christmas, Love’ which features covers of Christmas classics like ‘Let It Snow’ and ‘What Christmas Means to Me’ as well as some original songs penned byStone such as ‘Bring on Christmas Day’.

Stone was recently asked about the possibility of the album taking the iconic number one spot at Christmas to which she replied: "Wouldn’t that be nice? If I had one Christmas wish!"

Stone also performed at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade just months after she welcomed her second child, Shackleton Stoker with partner Cody DeLuz, last month. The couple currently has a 21-month-old daughter named Violet Melissa.

The singer, who has been quieter in recent years, is a current force to be reckoned with showing no signs of slowing down since her return to the spotlight last year. The singer won ‘The Masked Singer’ in 2021 and revealed she would love to also lend her hit making abilities by writing for other artists.

Stone recently announced that she would be playing the iconic London Palladium on March 27, 2023 as part of the ‘20 Years of Soul’ tour. Joss spoke on the exciting show saying: “I am so excited to play London again. I always love playing at home in the UK."

The ‘Right to be Wrong’ singer will mark the 20th anniversary of her platinum-selling debut studio album ‘The Soul Sessions’ and will stop off at multiple dates throughout March and February.

The singer shot to fame in her midteens when her second album ‘Mind, Body and Soul’ made her youngest female ever to top the UK Albums Chart. The singer has since sold over 12 million albums worldwide and garnered a global audience alongside winning Grammy and Brit awards.
