Lisa Trainer is putting together PeopleWorld's Hot or Not list while editor Marina Licht is enjoying some festive time off.

Our first choice for a main hot is the incredibly talented Lady Gaga. The singer turned actress was confirmed earlier this year to appear in a sequel to 2019’s ‘Joker’ with heavy rumours that she will be playing Harley Quinn.

She's trending on social media over the festive period and the multi-talented performer is always worth a mention.

The 36-year-old has already starred in ‘A Star is Born’ opposite Bradley Cooper and also in 2021’s House of Gucci with Jared Leto and Adam Driver and her performance was brilliant.

Fans are already excited about the sequel, but we will have to wait until October 4, 2024 to see Gaga on the big screen.

Our second hot for the day is Holly Ramsay, the daughter of the TV chef Gordon Ramsay. She's posted on social media celebrating two years of sobriety after hitting rock bottom with a drink problem.

She's an inspiration for many, particularly young people who face added peer pressure to drink. Congratulations to Holly. And for anyone thinking of tackling an addiction, this is a great example.

Our last hot for the day is Timothée Chalamet. The Call Me by Your Name actor celebrated his 27th birthday yesterday (Tuesday 27 December) and uploaded a funny polaroid from his childhood which showed him with his brown hair gelled up on one side of head.

The photos from his birthday came a couple weeks after he announced filming was done on his upcoming film Dune: Part Two. The hugely successful first Dune film is one of many projects to ensure Chalamet enjoys a strengthening career.

Chatting to Vogue, the actor explained how the Covid-19 pandemic shifted his mindset, sharing: "I should have been trying to get my adult feet under myself a little bit earlier than I did." He credits shifting his mindset as calming him for future projects. We think his mature attitude and sparing career makes him worthy of one of our spots today for hot.

Our first not is a woman who could create controversy no matter where she is or what she does. It is Madonna. And to be frank, despite the weird social media posts, we still love her. She hasn't become known for breaking taboos for no reason. In a world where everyone carefully curates their social media to ensure they aren't cancelled, Madonna just doesn't care.

She's the most successful female artist of all time. Why should she care? She's on our not list though as her teenage children would probably rather she used her social platforms a little differently.

Her adult children, Lourdes and Rocco, would probably like their mum to use social media differently, as well. What can you do? It's Madonna. We chart her controversies in an article and also her life and career in our video profile.

Our next not is Matt Hancock. Is that enough? OK, then let me expand. He is failing to get a celebrity agent amid his poor book sales for his novel Pandemic Diaries. The Tory MP went on reality TV to appear on I'm a Celebrity, in which he was placed third by a misguided public. I'm sure his constituents would rather he got on with the job he is paid for... representing them.

Our last not is Kim Kardashian. She has had a major photoshop fail over Christmas. The hugely successful influencer, businesswoman and trainee lawyer has been accused of photoshopping her family together after they appeared to pose for a festive group snap during their annual Christmas Eve bash.

The reality star, 42, had taken to Instagram to share a gallery of snaps with her famous siblings and mother Kris Jenner, but fans were quick to notice a series of distortions that hinted the photos were edited.

In the comments section of Kim's post, viewers were quick to accuse the star of editing the images, with one claiming it looked as if different photos of Kim and her sisters had been cut together to give the illusion of a group snap. If you can't get the family to agree to a snap looking natural together at Christmas then the egos have all become too big! Kim has quite the history of photoshopping relatives into images.

Those are our hots and nots for today and please feel free to email any comments on our selections to [email protected].
