Liam Payne makes red carpet debut with new girlfriend Kate Cassidy as singer continues dating trend with US women

Liam Payne seems to be dating in one direction as he continues his trend of relationships with American beauties, as he makes his red carpet debut with his new girlfriend Kate Cassidy at the 2022 British Fashion Awards.

The 29-year-old singer graced the BFAs carpet at London's Royal Albert Hall with the 23-year-old beauty on Monday, thus confirming suspicions about their relationship. The pair looked very dapper in a black suit and a stunning black cut-out dress with a thigh-high split, respectively.

The 'Familiar' singer was first seen with the mysterious blonde beauty over Halloween weekend, earlier this year, as the pair donned Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee costumes when going to a party in Mayfair.

The Barb Wire and Motley Crue stars were spotted together in October just six months after Liam Payne split from model girlfriend Maya Henry.

Kate Cassidy

Since Liam was seen leather-clad with his new beau, it has been revealed that the Pamela to his Tommy is 23-year-old Kate Cassidy.

The American party girl heralds from New Jersey but was seen with Liam for the first time leaving the Latin America club Inca in Mayfair on Saturday, after they watched a burlesque show.

Although this was the first time the couple have been snapped, friends have stated that the pair are “smitten” with each other.

The Sun reported from a close source: “They are mad about each other. Kate is a wild girl so Liam is definitely in for a fun ride. She is always out in nightclubs and seems to be loving London.”

Kate is enjoying partying over our side of the pond after she has just graduated from Charleston University in South Carolina.

Sources have confirmed that Kate, who is friends with model Chantel Jeffries, has been in London for two months and has a British father.

The “wild” new relationship between Liam and Kate comes months after the former One Direction star’s break-up with his American tennis player fiance, Maya Henry.

Maya Henry

Maya Henry is a 22-year-old American tennis player and model who is the daughter of multi-millionaire Texan lawyer Thomas J. Henry.

She created her own charity in 2008 called Maya’s Corner which helps children, animals, education and poverty matters, alongside starring in a reality show about her family called Hanging With Los Henrys.

Maya was first linked with the Familiar singer in 2018 before the pair confirmed their relationship the following year, but had been pictured with the star at the age of 15 when she met him during a meet and greet.

The young couple’s relationship seemed to fast-track as it was reported Liam proposed to Maya in August 2020 with a £3 million engagement ring, before the relation-ship hit some big waves.

Despite Liam announcing that he had called the engagement off in June 2021, telling Steven Bartlett’s Diary of a CEO podcast, “I know what my pattern of things is in a relationship…”, the singer then confirmed that himself and Maya had become stronger through Covid and the wedding was back on.

Although Covid may have strengthened their relationship for a short-while, the pair finally announced that they had broken up in May 2022.

Aliana Mawla

As Liam stated on the CEO podcast, he has a “pattern of things” when it comes to dating, which is echoed in his short-lived fling with American model Aliana Mawla.

Liam and Aliana were pictured getting cosy together in Heathrow Airport in May of this year, which caused fans to question whether Liam had left Maya for Mawla.

After Liam was spotted with the 21-year-old, Aliana posted pictures of them both to her 304,000 followers on Instagram.

Keen eyed music lovers would suggest the pair looked very “familiar” with one another as Aliana also previously appeared in Liam Payne’s music video for his 2018 song with J Balvin.

The relationship between Liam and Aliana was seemingly short-lived with fans criticising the singer for moving on from Maya so quickly.

Naomi Campbell

While Liam Payne’s dating trend shows he currently loves a young, beautiful American model, the 29-year-old has previously walked out with British supermodel Naomi Campbell, 48, and former Girls Aloud star Cheryl Tweedy.

CapitalFM confirmed the singer and model’s relationship but suggested that the pair kept it out of the public eye due to Liam’s recent split with Cheryl Tweedy - who he shares five-year-old son Bear with.

Naomi and Liam started dating in January 2019, six months after Liam’s split from the X Factor judge, with the pair having “a lot of fun together.”

However, the supermodel called it quits four months later due to the two “living very different lives”.
