Who is Lisa Marie Presley’s half brother Navarone Garibaldi? What we know about Priscilla Presley’s son

Navarone Garibaldi is the half, and only, maternal sibling of the late Lisa Marie Presley. Priscilla Presley shares son Navarone with ex-partner Marco Garibaldi. There was a nineteen year age gap between the siblings.

Following the tragic death of his sister, Navarone shared a picture alongside a statement via Instagram that read: “Big sister… i hope you are now at peace and happy with your Dad and your son by your side. I know the past couple years weren’t easy for you, and I wish things had been different between us. regardless, you are my sister and I’m sending love and prayers for your journey home. I still can’t believe this, I’m lost for words. Love you sis. Beijos.”

It seems that Lisa Marie is not the only child of Priscilla’s to dip their toe in the music world as Navarone Garibaldi has made a name for himself in the music industry. In 2013, Navarone decided to take his musical talents as a singer and guitarist to the stage and co-founded the band Them Guns.

According to the band’s website, they are “a synth rock band with dance-evoking progressive sound”. The band is influenced by Nirvana, Nine Inch Nails and Chemical Brother. They featured on the soundtrack for 2015 film Shut Up and Drive.

Navarone married Elisa Achilli at the Schloss Hünigen hotel in Konolfingen, Switzerland in February 2022. Following the marriage he told People: “I never thought I would find a counterpart that is so understanding and supportive. She makes everything we do effortless, and I can’t imagine life without her.”

Priscilla Presley has spoken publicly about her son and spoke about her pride to The Guardian. She said: “My son Navarone is his own person. He wants to do his own thing and I’m really proud of him. He doesn’t want to step into the spotlight, and he’s always been that way.

She added: He’s not riding on Elvis and he’s not riding on Lisa.” She added that she made sure not to compare family members to her iconic ex-husband. “We have never been, ‘Elvis this, Elvis that,’ to our children because otherwise you’re building up something that is almost unreachable for them.”

Priscilla lived with Marco Garibaldi, a brazilian screenwriter-turned-computer-programmer, for 22 years after being introduced by a mutual friend in 1984 after Garibaldi wrote a script Priscilla hoped to produce. Their relationship turned romantic and the couple welcomed their only child Navarone Garibaldi in 1987.

Priscilla Presley and Marco Garibaldi ended their relationship in 2006, and it was revealed that at the beginning of their romance, Presley ensured Garibaldi signed a promissory agreement that if they should break up, he would not write a book about her.
