The film will feature never before seen home videos of Louis and his One Direction bandmates plus behind-the-scenes footage of his son Freddie and Louis’s 2022 solo tour. The singer has been open in the past about why he didn't want the band to end and explains in the trailer “for me it was the band or nothing.”

It will be a 'raw' account of Louis's life through the highs and lows of his superstardom and a story about finding himself and success without the band. The director Charlie Lightening was also behind the successful Liam Gallagher documentary ‘As It Was’.

Louis had huge worldwide success with the boyband but suffered personal heartache after losing his mother Johannah Deakin to Leukaemia and a few years later his sister aspiring fashion designer Félicité Tomlinson died after a drug overdose.

It wasn’t quite the full reunion One Direction fans are desperately hoping for. Harry Styles is currently on tour in Australia. Niall Horan is about to sing at the White House for St Patrick's Day and Zayn Malik is living in the US but nonetheless, it’s always good to see the boys have all stayed close since.

In 2016 One Direction took an indefinite hiatus but the group has all stayed close over the years. Louis has described Liam as his ‘best mate’ and the others reportedly speak often. Harry drove fans wild when he thanked his former bandmates in his Brit Award acceptance speech and when he shared a gym selfie wearing a 1D t-shirt in a now-deleted social media pic.
