How close is Matty Healy to his mum Denise Welch who turns 65 today, dad Tim Healy and brother Louie Healy?

If you haven't heard already Taylor Swift and Matty Healy are reportedly dating and Tay is shouting it from the rooftops. Or on the main stage as she performs songs whilst on her Eras tour. Since splitting from boyfriend of six years Joe Alwyn the Grammy Award winning singer jumped straight into a new relationship with the lead singer from the 197D and even claims she is the happiest she has ever been in her life.

Denise Welch 

Denise is a panellist on British TV show Loose Women similar to the View in the US. Denise is a well known face on TV in the UK and best known for her roles as an actress in soap Coronation Street, Waterloo road and Soldier Soldier.

Denise has been married three times to actor David Easter, actor Tim Healy (Matty’s father) and painter Lincoln Townley. 

Fans of the Loose Women  will know that Denise is one proud mother, she often talks about her sons but also revealed that she sometimes gets told off by Matty for sharing too much. The two are very close although she has joked that to see him she has to book an appointment through his agent. So it's no surprise she has stayed tight-lipped about the relationship. 

The TV personality is celebrating turning 65 today by being featured in OK! magazine posing in her ‘sexiest shoot’ ever. Denise opened up for the first time and said “Matty is absolutely shattered. He's on a world tour and as much as it's hard to go, 'Oh, please feel sorry for my boy. 

“People don't realise that it's gruelling to be the lead singer, the creator, the writer, the producer of a massive show on the scale that Matthew does. Then he gets on stage and gets in a plane and flies seven hours and then flies 24 hours. It's a wonderful life, but he's absolutely exhausted and ready for a break”

Denise also revealed that Matty and younger brother Louis  “are so supportive of each other.”

Tim Healy

Tim is another regular face on British TV and starred in comedy series Auf Wiedersehen, Pet, Benidorm and Still Open all Hours. Although Denise revealed in a Loose Woman discussion that Tim was ‘dead against’ his sons getting into showbiz, the Newcastle born actor changed his mind. Tim couldn’t be prouder of his sons and is often spotted in the front row at the 1975 concerts when he can. 

He hasn't yet retired from acting but is currently spending time supporting for Children North East charity and also co-founded the Sammy Johnson Memorial Fund.

Louis Healy 

Younger brother Louis is also set for stardom - nepo baby spring to mind with these two boys - The 22 year old has featured in many TV shows including ITV soap Emmerdale, Hotel Portofino, Ackley Bridge and The Pact.
