Nia Archives UK Tour 2024: Jungle revivalist set for short tour after summer festival dates

Considered one of the standout electronic artists of the past few years, Bradford jungle DJ Nia Archives might be here, there and everywhere during the 2024 summer festival season, but she’s still managed to find time for a small UK tour to end 2024 with.

Coming off the back of her debut album, “Silence Is Loud,” which peaked at 16 in the UK Album Charts after its release in April 2024, Archives is set to perform in Glasgow, Newcastle, Manchester and three nights at the O2 Academy in London, before embarking on Europeans dates including Germany, France and Denmark.

Having helped re-establish the popularity of jungle music to a wider audience, Archives earned the BBC Music Introducing Award for Artist of the Year in 2022 and placed third in the broadcaster's “Sound of 2023” shortlist. Her songs have almost become ubiquitous, with “Forbidden Feelingz” appearing on video games, adverts and the odd television show here and there.

She’s also been considered early on in her musical career and an influence to other aspiring drum and bass artists, at one stage imploring the MOBO Awards in a handwritten letter to create a Best Electronic/Dance Artist award, because the last such act to win an award was Goldie, who had won for “Timeless” in 1996.

It just so happens that she would go on to win that category at the 2022 MOBO Awards for all her efforts.
