Pixie Lott and Oliver Cheshire announced that she is pregnant with their first child: Where has she been?

Pixie Lott, 32, has announced that she is expecting her first child with husband model Oliver Cheshire, 35. The ‘Boys and Girls’ singer shared pictures on her Instagram account of her blossoming bump and proud dad-to-be holding a scan picture. 

Alongside the images Pixie wrote “We are beyond excited to announce we are expecting our first child together and cannot wait to start a family of our own.” The ‘Mama Do’ singer is reportedly 31 weeks and the baby's due date is sometime in September. 

Speaking to Vogue a year after the couple tied the knot in a lavish June wedding. The pair have been in a relationship since 2010 and had to push their wedding back due to COVID. Pixie also revealed t o the publication that they already know the sex of the baby. The mum-to-be also discussed her love for maternity wear, she said “I also love that there are no rules around maternity style now. Rihanna always looks incredible.” 

Pixie explained that as it’s summer she has been living in flowy dresses but as her belly grows she is looking forward to mixing it up and wearing different outfits to show off her bump.

What has Pixie Lott been up to? 

Pixie is best known as a singer/songwriter after releasing her debut album ‘Turn It Up’ in 2009. The singer released another two albums ‘Young Foolish Happy’ (2011) and Pixie Lott (2014) so what has she been up to for the past nine years? 

Pixie was announced as one of the Contestants for BBC One Strictly Come Dancing she was partnered with professional dancer Trent Whiddon. The pair topped the leader board four times but were eliminated during the quarter-finals. 

With a fantastic singing voice it was no surprise that Pixie headed over to London’s West End. In the stage show version of Breakfast at Tiffany's Pixie played the lead role of Holly Golightly originally played by Audrey Hepburn in the movie. 

As well as featuring on TV shows such as ‘Keith Lemon’s Celebrity Juice’ and ‘The Lateish Show with Mo Gilligan’ Pixie created a fashion range in collaboration with Lipsy. 

Pixie started her career at the age of 15 so it was only fitting that she would become a coach on ‘The Voice Kids UK’. The series hosted by Emma Willis began in 2017 with fellow judges Black Eyed Peas star and music producer Will.I.Am and pop-rock band McFly's Danny Jones. 

The new series of ‘The Voice Kids UK’ will be back on ITV and ITVX for three episodes on Saturday 1 July 7:30 pm along with Ronan Keating as the fourth coach.

Pixie told The Sun that she has recorded a secret new album and will be released at some pint this year. But with a new baby on the way the new album may go to the bottom of her list of priorities.
