Reading and Leeds Festival 2021: lineup for music festival, can you watch live on TV, and are there tickets?

The three-day festival returns with headline acts such as Stormzy, Biffy Clyro, Liam Gallagher and Sonny Fodera

It’s the summer we have all been waiting for and dare to dream would actually happen - but festivals are back and the latest mucky music weekend is Leeds and Reading festival.

The lineup is sure to get you in the mood for partying, camping and soaking up the last of the summer sunshine - and you can now also celebrate getting your Covid jab as the festival has a pop up vaccine tent.

So, who is headlining and if you can’t be there, are there other ways to join in the fun? This is what you need to know.

When is the Reading and Leeds festival 2021?

The festival will take place from 27 - 29 August.

Leeds takes place via entry at Bramham Park, while Reading revellers will attend Richfield Avenue.

While the two festivals are different in their locations, the festival is one big party with headlining acts and some new talent, ranging from classic rock to indie.

Festival goers at Richfield Avenue and Bramham Park will be treated to performances by headline acts Stormzy, Liam Gallagher and Post Malone across the weekend.

Other artists include AJ Tracey, Mabel, Declan McKenna on Friday, Sigrid and Two Door Cinema Club on Saturday and finishing with the likes of Gerry Cinnamon and KSI on Sunday.

Across the three days, the Main Stage West will host Biffy Clyro. Catfish and the bottlemen and Becky Hill.  Radio One will also provide a dance stage which will be lit up by the likes of MK, Sonny Fodera and Nathan Dawe.

Are there any tickets for Reading and Leeds festivals still available?

All tickets for Leeds and Reading Festivals have sold out. The website has warned against scammers punting tickets online.

Can you watch Reading and Leeds on TV?

For those who couldn’t snap up tickets or are still a little uneasy about crowds, you can still get your festival fix.

Highlights from Leeds and Reading shown on BBC One, headline performances will also be aired - catch Stormzy’s set at 11.55pm on Saturday, August 28 and Liam Gallagher at 11.35pm on Saturday.

BBC Radio One will also be providing coverage from 11am on all three festival days, with interviews and live insight into the days at the weekend unfolds.

BBC Radio One Xtra will also get involved from 7pm on Saturday, August 28.
