Rihanna's beau A$AP Rocky leaps over Met Gala fans to get through a crowd

The outfits are usually what makes the headlines at the Met Gala, but while the world waited excitedly to see what Rihanna would wear - her boyfriend A$AP Rocky made sure the crowd knew he had arrived.

The US rapper arrived on the red carpet in a unique fashion by jumping over a barricade where fans gazed in puzzled fashion. One even seemed to get more than she bargained for as A$AP appeared to launch off her from a crowd.

In a video captured by someone watching those enter and leave The Mark Hotel — where most celebrities stay prior to attending the Met Gala — A$AP Rocky took matters into his own hands to get to where he needed to be. Wearing what appeared to be a Carharrt hoodie, he jumped the barricade to gain entry at the prestigious fashion show.

We're sure Rocky was just in a rush to show off another of his showstopping fashion looks on the red carpet.

The 2023 Met Gala takes place at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. The night's co-chairs were Dua Lipa, Penélope Cruz, Roger Federer, and Michaela Coel.

The night's theme was ‘Karl Lagerfeld: A line of beauty’ and many outfits cleary paid homage to the influential designer.
