Who is Sam Ryder’s girlfriend Lois Gaskin-Barber and are they married?

This time last year Sam Ryder was preparing for the biggest competition of his life as he geared up to sing ‘Space Man’ at Eurovision 2022.

The TikTok star rose to prominence through his published cover versions of Elton John, Sia and Justin Bieber to name a few, but secured his fame when he was announced as runner up in Turin, Italy.

Since then, it’s been hard to drag Sam back down from being ‘up in Space [Man]’ with the Eurovision star becoming the first British male solo artist to top the UK Albums Chart with their first record in three years, clinching performances at F1 Grand Prix's, the Royal Variety Show and New Year’s Eve shows as well as receiving a Brit nomination.

Throughout his rise to fame and prior to Covid-19 when the Essex singer started posting TikToks, Sam’s girlfriend has been by his side - PeopleWorld has a look at who Lois Gaskin-Barber is:

Not much is known about Sam Ryder and Lois Gaskin-Barber as the couple keep their relationship fairly private, however it is reported that they started dating, or indeed getting closer, in their teenage years after Lois suggested they had experienced birthdays from their ‘teens to their 30s’.

While some publications suggest they confirmed their relationship in 2011 and others stating 2016 when Sam was a budding builder, what is known is that the couple opened up their own juice bar in Coggeshall, Essex called Lone Wolves Organic Juice in 2017.

Unfortunately, the juice bar only lasted two years before being taken over by a café with the current owner saying: “They were a pair of hippies. With Sam, you always felt as if you were among friends. He is horizontal, that man, he is so chilled.”

When away from the juice bar Sam and Lois would pop up a sign saying ‘gone surfing’ highlighting their passion for the water sport which they enjoy alongside snowboarding. 

However, the Lone Wolves brand lives on with Lois’ homemade jewellery brand as seen on Instagram, amassing 26,700 followers.

Even though Lois makes jewellery, questions have started to amount as to whether she has a ring on her wedding finger, but those questions are yet to be answered properly.
