They were the hottest celebrity couple of 2019 after years of relationship rumours. But Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello sadly split after a two-year romance but the couple may be back together. The pair were spotted embracing and ‘kissing’ over the weekend at music festival Coachella. 

Canadian singer Shawn and Cuban songstress Camila sparked relationship rumours when they collaborated on the hit single Señorita. The singer has always spoken highly of Camila and admitted in his Netflix documentary In Wonder that all of the songs he’s written were about her. 

Fans were completely shocked when the couple announced their split. In a statement shared on both their socials the two singers said “Hey guys, we’ve decided to end our romantic relationship but our love for one another as humans is stronger than ever. We started our relationship as best friends and will continue to be best friends. We appreciate your support from the beginning and moving forward.”

The couple have sparked rumours that they may be a reconciliation after they were seen (and filmed) embracing and kissing at Coachella festival over the weekend. Onlookers reportedly said the pair were packing on the PDA.

The singer was recently linked to actress Sabrina Carpenter but he shut down those rumours and the pair are just good friends. 

In July 2022 the singer was linked to 51-year-old chiropractor Jocelyne Miranda after the pair were photographed by the Daily Mail on a lunch ‘date’ together. The publication reported that they were seen outside Shawn’s home together a few months later. 

The Stitches singer was reportedly seen kissing Hailey Bieber at the 2017 MTV EMA’s after party. But he denied that they were dating even after they walked the Met Gala red carpet together and said they were just friends. 

Not long after Chloe Moretz split from Brooklyn Beckham the actress sparked rumours that something was going on with Shawn when she flirted with him on Twitter.

After the singer shared a snap of himself without a shirt and baring his torso the actress shared a cheeky Gif of herself biting her lip.

Although she was clearly appreciating his gym-honed body, fans speculated there was more to it. Neither of them have spoken about a relationship between them.
