Two of Eastern US hip-hop’s most important artists are banding together for an incredible world tour that is expected to have UK hip-hop aficionados excited about the prospect of seeing these landmark artists. Wu-Tang Clan and the incomparable Nas will be bringing their The Saga Continues tour to the UK for two dates only in June 2023.

Produced by Live Nation, the 32-date global tour kicks off on Tuesday, May 9th in Auckland, New Zealand at Spark Arena, with additional stops across New Zealand, Australia, North America and Europe before wrapping up on Sunday, October 22nd at Yaamava Theatre in Highland, CA.

The 2023 tour comes on the heels of the sold-out 2022 N.Y. State of Mind Tour run that hit 25+ cities last year, including an iconic show at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles. The tour was also recently nominated for Pollstar’s 2022 Hip Hop Tour of The Year.

Both artists have been historically significant acts in the hip-hop landscape; Wu-Tang Clan, led by GZA The Genius, have been credited with bringing focus to the Eastern US hip-hop scene during a time that was dominated by West Coast rappers.

Their sampling of ‘70s esoteric kung-fu movies and dirty, low-end beats captured the attention of many rap fans for its gritty production and gave the musical world, among other Wu-Tang members, Method Man and ODB. The pair have gone on to have successful solo careers in their own right - until ODB’s untimely death in 2004.

As for Nas, there are countless articles, oral histories and interviews with other big hip-hop artists and producers who cite just how important Nas was for the hip-hop scene. His album, Illmatic, is considered a watershed moment in hip-hop and in 2012 The Source ranked him second on their list of the "Top 50 Lyricists of All Time".
