Alesha Dixon ‘holds’ off on signing BGT contract while Beyonce’s Dubai performance has sparked controversy

There never seems to be a quiet day on PeopleWorld, but who wants a quiet life? I certainly thrive on the tumultuous goings on in the world of celebrities. First up today on our hot list is Alesha Dixon who reportedly has yet to sign her contract (alongside Amanda Holden) for Britain’s Got Talent.

Surely that makes Alesha Dixon a not rather a hot? Here at PeopleWorld, we believe it certainly makes her hot. Why should ‘new’ judge Bruno Tonioli reportedly be paid the same as Alesha and Amanda when this is Alesha’s 11th season on the show and Amanda’s 17th? This of course leads to the bigger issue of ‘gender inequality’ that has plagued every corner of our society for years.

From Alesha Dixon to Arsenal footballer Eddie Nketiah. He has emerged as an unlikely ‘hero’ after his late winner sealed Arsenal’s win against Manchester United. The fact that it was only his fifth start of the season and perhaps unfairly wasn’t seen as a worthy replacement for Gabriel Jesus makes Eddie a deserved star to grace PeopleWorld’s hot list today.

The last celebrity gracing PeopleWorld’s hot list today is a blast from the past, Grace Jones. She has been confirmed (alongside Pavement, Leftfield and Roisin Murphy) as one of the headliners at the Bluedot 2023 festival. This festival is to take place at the Jodrell Bank Observatory in Cheshire from July 20-23.

From the world of hots to the world of nots…

It would seem that Hollywood was bereft of A-listers this weekend as they all seemed to be in Dubai to see Beyoncé perform at Atlantis the Royal’s private launch event. Beyoncé was reportedly paid £19 million for the event and many have criticised her for this as they have questioned why she chose to perform in the UAE when the government has anti-LGBT policies.

Next up today is Brad Pitt…

Although he and co-star Margot Robbie are huge A-list stars, this hasn’t prevented their movie Babylon becoming a box office flop. Oh dear, oh dear, you know it’s a bad movie if Brad Pitt can’t even save it…

The final ‘celebrity’ gracing our not so hot list today is Olivia Hawkins from Love Island. She is currently engaged in what seems to be an ongoing ‘spat’ with Zara Deniz Lackenby-Brown. Many on Twitter are calling out Olivia and are saying that she needs to ‘relax’ and that she is just ‘mad’ at Zara because she is ‘winning’ on the show.
