Fans were quick to show their support of the Downton Abbey actress. One person replied; “ You’ll have the last laugh. Remember that”

Another wrote: “I don't know you but stay strong. You have a lot of love around you. You'll get through this, trust me.”

Former Downton Abbey co-star and close friend Joanne Froggart has been supporting the actress. The two women have been friends for many years and used to live near each other as well as starring together in the TV series Liar.

Amy and Andrew split just before Chritsmas after he moved out of their marital home and in with new girlfriend and co-star Leila Fazard after growing close whilst filming BBC series Better. The actress was said to have been suspicious after seeing pictures of them on social media together.
