A person in their early 20s has revealed that they were reportedly sent abusive messages by the BBC presenter who is in the middle of a row over payment for photographs that are sexually explicit. The BBC said that “The individual in their early 20s was first contacted anonymously by the male presenter on a dating app. They say they were put under pressure to meet up but never did.”

Sky News reported that “The new claims comes after the BBC suspended the unnamed male star over allegations published by The Sun newspaper that the high-profile presenter paid a teenager for explicit images.”

Two hours ago, Piers Morgan tweeted that the presenter in question should name and defend himself.

He said the following: “Everyone in the UK media knows who it is, including everyone working at the BBC- many of whose other male presenters continue to be wrongly targeted/tarnished on social media as being the person involved. It’s an untenable situation. The presenter should name & defend himself.”
